I appreciate the return of RS07. I think that JaGeX realised that they lost a lot of players due to the loss of the free trade and the wilderness in 2007/08 and they did struggle to get those back with the return. I think that many people would have heard the news about the new servers and will be extremely eager to try it again. Cannot wait till Gold4fun begin to sell rs07 gp, will be so good and will be extremely quick to buy! This is one of the best updates since 2007. Why? Because most of the updates thereafter weren’t up to par. The general community was against them. I Believe Jagex finally got something right with admitting to their mistakes and restoring the servers, while leaving those who actually enjoyed their updates to the eoc. Overall, that should eliminate most newfags, or 2010 players because they stick to what they are used to while us oldschoolers are free to roam the land we once loved! Cheers!!

You’ve chanced upon the WoW Gold Guide and Blog of GAMERLUCK, Alliance Mage of Stormwind and servant towards the Earthen Ring. Within this blog there is a latest version of my writing around the latest edition of Wow and also the art and craft of making wow gold.

My quests continue inside the latest growth of the Mists of Pandaria. Getting now arrived at level 90, I explore the brand new content locked within patch 5.1 Landfall. The conflict between Horde and Alliance across the shoreline from the Krasarang Wilds may yet bring new gold making possibilities.

However the one factor that never changes using the discharge of every new expansion may be the ongoing requirement for more Wow gold usa. Gamers will need to search much deeper to their bottomless bags to pay the bills within an ever growing Warcraft world.

With every new expansion, you will find new alts to roll, new professions to level and usually more gear to purchase. Which means that gamers generally burn through their surplus gold inside a couple of days, departing them gold poor for a lot of levels. Additionally, inflation within the wow gold economy implies that the gold in gamers bags may be worth under in the past expansions. This leads many gamers who’re time poor to look for cheap wow gold in the many gold retailers available.

What madness! Purchasing gold will enable you to get banned. And why bother when it’s there to take.

If you’re one particular player, hopefully this web site can help you make easy wow gold in double-quick some time and free you against the clutches from the gold retailers. You’ll find articles on every aspect of making gold through the site additionally to free wow guides and news letters for individuals that subscribe.

And thus continue reading, Friend, look for the most recent records during these pages to ensure that you can also prepare and never are unsuccessful whenever you go into the Mists of Pandaria for the first time.

Farming Wow gold usa really is easy as well as everything from a little of effort to numerous effort for the way much gold you need to make and just how fast you need to allow it to be. Don’t bother buy wow gold with how easy is to really make it, so let’s get began on top five methods to earn WoW gold.

Fundamentals

Gold is straightforward to create. You get something that another person needs and they provide you with gold as a swap for your item. The aim is to locate what individuals want to provide you with money for and acquiring a variety of it to market. You can do this by farming, running quests, or any other techniques. However, you will find a couple of fundamentals you will understand in advance.

If you’re likely to make a sale around the Ah then search for a good AH mod like Auctionator. Should you can’t sell effectively then you’ll feel frustrated while you work a lot more than you need to sell all things in your inventory, doubling to looking to be able to cost everything.

Remember to maintain your inventory clean when you are out farming. You are able to waste considerable time moving out of your farming place to town to be able to sell all your loot. Our suggestion would be to make an alt and place it while watching ah. Then visit a nearby lower and mail all your loot to that particular alt to ensure that you can just just log out and proceed to that character to be able to sell everything. This works very well when you’re inside a farming area that doesn’t allow flying.

Make sure to keep the eyes in your bottom-line. If you’re investing a lot more than you’re making to farm gold then you’re likely to be driving the gold trolley backwards. The only real exception happens when you’re progressing a tradeskill up that’ll be causing you to more income than your energy production. You need to think lengthy-term too.

#1 – Gathering Abilities

It’s not really a joke that gathering recycleables (Herbal treatments, Ore, and Skins) is huge cash. You may make major bank by exploring Kailmdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outlands, and Northrend farming everything you are able to. It takes lots of hard work but is extremely rewarding and among the best methods to turn your time and effort into gold. Just switch on a bit of music and revel in farming quietly.

There exists a large helpful tip. If prices on higher level materials are rapidly declining in your server then you need to consider farming in lower level zones. On some servers you can observe stacks of Sungrass move for 80 to 100 gold if there’s any even around the ah. Always bear in mind that lower level areas could be worth greater than greater level areas even when you can’t fly to farm.

#2 – Eternal Fire Farming (or Instance/BG Farming)

This is a simple tip which will result in many gold inside a short time (based on Eternal Fire prices in your server). Eternal Fires are essential for a lot of tradeskills and particularly by Alchemists for his or her Cardinal Ruby transmute. One Scarlet Ruby and something Eternal Fire could be transmuted right into a Cardinal Ruby once every 20 hrs. So Eternal Fires are constantly being consumed and sought after. You are able to farm these from the fire like monster in Northrend.

3.3.3 has transformed the costs on Eternal Fires a little, but that is okay, since you can now either farm them if they are thriving in your server or maybe the costs are heading down you are able to proceed to farming instances that might get you a Runed Orb (which may be converted into an Eternal ___) together with the gold and badges which may be converted into gems. Furthermore, the random battleground tool enables you to definitely easily queue up striking the battlegrounds. 10,000 Recognition will enable you to get a principal color jewel.

#3 – Daily Quests

The daily quests offered at the Argent Tournament (northern a part of Icecrown) can award an amount 77 or greater player over 150 gold in under thirty minutes a day. That’s a considerable amount for such little effort, as well as the additional bonuses you receive like status, loot, game titles, and accomplishments. You will find a number of other daily quests in Icecrown that you could undertake too for additional cash.

Searching in the grand plan of products, we’ve found it’s better to stop farming here once you’ve become your Crusader title (in regards to a month of playing) and every one of the loot that you would like. Why? Well, because you ought to be making much more money elsewhere. The tournament is a superb spot to fund your tradeskills and then any other projects when you initially hit 80, but you’ll discover that the grind jump on your anxiety following a couple of months of farming. That’s not saying it isn’t lucrative, however it may become monotonous.

#4 – Professions

Many gamers will believe that professions are a smart choice if this involves generating money. I disagree though, many gamers don’t know how to earn more using their professions or which professions earn money. For example, Blacksmithing can’t produce anything that’s more vital compared to materials that enter in the item except belt buckles as well as then?- some servers have belt buckles worth under the mats accustomed to create them!

We’ve found two professions that actually stick out if this involves making cash. They’re Jewelcrafting and Inscription, each of which are more recent professions, and both of them are very lucrative.

Jewelcrafting has a couple of things working for this. First may be the Jewelcrafting daily mission which leads to a Dalaran Jewecrafter’s Token at the expense of two uncommon gems and a little of work. The token could be converted into a Dragon’s Eye which may be offered or accustomed to make Jewelcrafter only gems (helping you save cash). Jewelcrafting also can create a number of gems that are simple to sell in the ah. You are able to cut Cardinal Rubies bought with recognition and switch a 170 gold jewel right into a 220 gold jewel (with respect to the server) as well as selling the services you provide off in a huge profit.

If you would like better margins then there’s Inscription. You need to be a little more devoted though because there’s lots of competition of all servers. However, most glyphs cost next to nothing to create and may sell upwards to fifty to one hundred gold each, all pure profit. There’s lots of randomness on the market and lots of competition, but individuals dedicated to it may find lots of easy profit to create.

#5 – Transmutations

5x Transmutations can enable you to get massive bank if you are sufficiently fortunate to get one.

Finally we arrived at the greatest money maker that needs minimal quantity of effort. Alchemists and Tailors could make special products that cost bucketloads of money. Alchemists can perform a daily transmute most abundant in popular to be the Cardinal Ruby that takes about 40 to 70 gold in materials and turns it right into a 140-190 gold jewel. That’s over 100 gold price of profit each day! That’s before we discuss Transmutation Mastery that could permit you to proc and make as much as 5 gems each day. That’s a lot of free cash.

Tailors could make Ebonweave, Moonshroud, and Spellweave with no cooldown now. You are able to have a small amount of materials (Eternal Elements, Ingrained Frostweave) and switch it into cloth that costs over 100 gold each. Mastery into one sort of cloth enables you to definitely make two bits of cloth rather than one, doubling your profits. Especially helpful if cloth is holding at the top of your server however the mats aren’t.

Small note, patch 3.3.3 has unbalanced the costs on gems a little, but you may still earn profits and also the market will invariably rebound.

I’m sure that by now you all know how much I love to mine. I think I told you enough times about my love of mining in That’s Mine Dummy, but have I told you my other favorite thing to do is fish?!! You may have seen the fishing calendar I made up a few years ago. Fishing is so calming. You, your pole, the water and the fish. It is so peaceful. As peaceful as it is, it takes knowledge and skill! And being an incredibly skilled fisherman, I’m going to share a bit of that with you.

The Tackle Box

The Tackle Box is my list of fishing gear. Poles, lures, hats, and where to get them. Too bad I haven’t found a good fishing vest yet, but I don’t think they exist. Remember, you may be the best fisherman in the world but gear helps! And a good fisherman knows his gear.

Fishing Poles

If you want to fish, you need a fishing pole o’ course! Don’t know how you could do it without one. Although there are a few quests that provide you with a net but that’s not reel fishing skill. Here’s a list of poles that you can get. I have most except for Nat Pagle’s Extreme Angler FC 5000. Blasted troll won’t talk to me. And I will admit I’ve never taken the time to fish up the Darkwood. Perhaps I will one of these days just so I have it for my collection.

*The Darkwood Fishing Pole is acquired by fishing. It has a chance to be fished up, like a crate or a fish, in almost any medium level body of water. Some of the more popular places to fish for it are Ashenvale, Redridge Mountains and Stonetalon Mountains.

**The Big Iron Fishing Pole is acquired by opening lobster traps underwater near Shadowprey Village in Desolace. Head out into the bay and dive. It’s handy to take a Deepdive Helm if you’re an Engineer or get some water breathing potions from an Alchemist. You will see the glittering cages, like in the picture below. Simply open a cage. Sometimes you’ll open it to find junk loot, lobsters, mobs and eventually the Big Iron Fishing Pole!

Lures and Gear

Where would fising be without worms? Put a worm on a hook and toss it in the water and the fish eats it! No reason for a fish to eat a plain hook so you should be using a lure of some kind. Lures come from all sorts of sources. You can buy them; a lot of the undead guys drop Nightcrawlers; and Engineers can even make Aquadynamic Fish Attractors!

Tricks of the Trade

Now there are a few other things you can do to enhance your fishing. You can use consumables, like Captain Rumsey’s Lager which gives you +3 to fishing and is rather tashty…hic! For those who cook you can get the Rumsey Lager recipe from the *Shat Daily Fishing Quest. Now if you find someUnderbelly Elixir in the Dalaran sewer it can increase your fising by +50 if you get the Tuskarr effect. Of course it might just shrink you or make everyone look the same or turn you into a wasp or…well you get the point. The other draw back aside from the random effect is that it can only be used in Dalaran. Of course, that’s handy if you’re fishing in the fountain or trying to get the Sewer Rat.

Another option to increase your skill is a pair of fishing gloves. Any gloves, all you have to do is put Enchant Gloves – Fishing on them. That will add only +2 to your fishing but can helpful if you’re jsut missing that last point you need in order to fish in a new zone. And coincidentally you can gather one of the mats for this enchant when you fish up Oily Blackmouth. Just give those fish to an Alchemist and he can make Blackmouth Oil for you.

Now the Find Fish ability is a must for fishermen. You can fish without it but why would you want to? In order to learn this ability you need to fish up aWeather Beaten Journal from any number of trunks you can randomly get while fishing. Or you just might get it in a Bag of Fishing Treasures from the *Shat Daily Fishing Quest. You can only get one per lifetime. If you happen to open a trunk and it’s empty, chances are it had a book in it that disappeared. While the container that the book is in is not bind on pick up, (unless it’s the Bag of Fishing Treasures) the book itself is. You can trade the crate or barrel to someone else who wants to learn it. They can take the book out after you’ve traded them the trunk.

Now there are a handful of fishing addons but the one I use is Fishing Buddy. It allows you to keep track of the fish you’ve caught, your fishing level and how long you’ve fished. It even helps you automatically equip lures, change fishing outfits and other fun stuff. Yes, outfits, you know your hat, boots, gloves…don’t roll your eyes at me just because I like to dress up.

Fishing Holes

Of course you need to know where to go in order to fish. The water obviously! Ahem..couldn’t resist. I’ve put together a quick glance guide for you so you can find fishing holes within your skill level. You don’t want to tackle Gahz’ranka too soon now! Get it? Tackle?! /chuckles Don’t forget you can also fish in some dungeons.

Now this shows the absolute lowest required fishing level for a given zone. Once you hit a zone you may not be able to fish all the bodies of water at first. Take Nagrand for instance, Sunspring Lake requires higher skill for fishing than Forge Camp Hate. I do hope I haven’t missed anywhere. In case I have missed a zone or four, a good rule of thumb to go by is hte higher the level of the zone, the higher level required for fishing.

Questing for Fish

Now you may have noticed a good deal of fishing gear comes from questing for other fisherman around Azeroth. I’ve listed some of the more notable quests here. There are many more quests out there that require you to fish something up but these are the most notable. Besides, I wouldn’t want to ruin all the fun of discovering the others yourself! To be a fisherman is to find your own fishing holes.

Artisan Fishing Quest

To level up your fishing, you’ll need to get past 225. The only way to do that is to go see the Master Fisherman, Nat Pagle. Nat Pagle is a legend among us fisherman in Azeroth. He knows it all and he’s always after a bigger or more exotic fish. You’ll find him in Dustwallow Marsh. He has a small camp set up on island there. He’ll only teach you if you’re level 35 and have 225 fishing skill already so be ready! And of course don’t forget some lures. You’ll need a +75 lure at least to fish in Feralas.

Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme, is what the quest is called. He’ll send you off to catch him 4 rare fish. A Feralas Ahi, Sar’theris Striker, Savage Coast Blue Sailfin and a Misty Reed Mahi Mahi. Oddly enough you can find each of these fish near a Horde town. You know, Nat may be a human but I think he likes Horde better. He gives them a special fishing pole and makes it easy to fly from place to place for this quest!

I’ve put together a small map for you that pin points the locations of Nat and all the fish he sends you after. I never had a problem catching each of the exotics on the first cast. I hope your luck is just as good.

* Shattrath Daily Fishing Quests

The Shattrath daily fishing quest is given by Old Man Barlow at Slimyr Lake in Terokkar Forest. Below is a complete list of his available quests.

Each quest will award you a Bag of Fishing Treasures that usually contains gold, hooks and a junk vendor item. If you’re lucky you might get the Spun Truesilver Fishing Line or the Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat. There’s even a cooking recipe, Captain Rumsey’s Lager, that might pop out of your bag!

Bait Bandits

Crocolisks in the City

Felblood Filet

Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy

The One That Got Away

Completing all of these quest will grant you the achievement Old Man Barlowned.

Other Quests for Gear

There are of course the other quests for gear that I mentioned. Quests for fishing poles and a quest for a stack of special lures. Now Snapjaws, Mon! and Rather Be Fishin’ and The Family and the Fishing Pole are all pretty straight forward quests and reward good fishing poles. The Arcanite Fishing Pole is from the STV Fishing Extravaganza which I’ll tell you more about in a bit.

The Electropellers is a pretty easy quest but you need know the right places to fish! It also has a prequisite quest Gaffer Jacks. You can’t just go kill stuff. It is however a one time quest, and only gives you a stack of 20 Lens’s. The time it takes to fish up all the parts makes this quest not worth time for the lures, unless you’re like me and just need to try all things fishing. It is of course is another quest you can do while working on your Loremaster Achievement. So if you’re Alliance and want to get this done go upstairs in the Auberdine Inn and find Whizbang Cranktoggle and he’ll get you started.

Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza

Each Sunday there’s a fishing tournament in Stranglethorn Vale from 2 pm to 4 pm. Competition is fierce and fishermen from all over Azeroth will gather along the sandy banks of Stranglethorn in the hopes that they’ll be the nextMaster Angler! In order to become a master angler you need to be the first one to fish up and deliver 40 speckled tastyfish. There are pools of speckled tastyfish that pop all along the coast. It’s handy to have the Find Fish ability. It can get a bit tricky let me tell you.

Just to give you an idea of how fierce the competition is, you’ll have other fisherman bring their buddies who will stand on your lure so you can’t catch a thing! In this situation, I found it a good idea to have some baby spice. Very handy for shrinking the offending party. You’ll also need to watch out for members of the opposing faction. They’ll enjoy killing you while you have nothing but a fishing pole equipped.

Here’s a list of tips for the tournament.

Have 150 fishing skill minimum.

You need 225 fishing to keep from losing fish.

Take lures.

Get there early.

Hearthbind in Booty Bay.

Locate Riggle Bassbait

Take friends as protection.

Research spawn areas and get into place before the tournament starts.

Use autoloot and cast into the middle of the tastyfish schools.

Use the macro #showtooltip Speckled Tastyfish to keep track of how many fish you’ve caught.

Once you have 40 use your hearth stone to return to Booty Bay and turn in.

For faster turn in use:

/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1)
/script CompleteQuest()
/script GetQuestReward()

There are also prizes for some rare fish. I have the prizes and the quests cross referenced in the Tackle Box. Here’s a quick list of the fish though, just in case you fish one up while catching tastyfish.

Brownell’s Blue Striped Racer

Dezian Queenfish

Keefer’s Angelfish

You turn the rare fish into the Fishbot 5000 on the dock in Booty Bay. He’ll give you your reward. The nice thing about the rare fish is they don’t expire like the Tastyfish. If you catch one but don’t make it back to the Fishbot before he closes down for the week, you can just keep your fish until the next tournament. Now there are some fish tales circulating that you can catch these rare fish more often towards the end of the tournament but never having caught one myself, I can’t tell you how true this is.

Achievements

There are a good many fishing achievements. And they don’t all depend on skill, some depend on luck. For example fishing up Old Ironjaw in Ironforge. I still haven’t landed that blasted fish but a newbie fisherman cast his line next to me the other day, caught him in the fifth catch. Made me grind my teeth let me tell you. Some of the achievements you’ll earn automatically as you delve deeper into the mysteries and joys of fishing but others take time and skill. You can be confident in the knowledge that Accomplished Angler is tough to earn and Salty is a rare title.

For those fishermen who are stubborn enough and have the time to go for the title, there’s a nice little gnome name El who’s put together a Salty guide. I finally had to admit that El just might be more crazy about fishing than I am. Good luck and have fun working on your title!

The Stringer

There are numerous uses for fish, the most widely one being to eat them. Yum, yum. They can be used for other things however.

Alchemy - There are several different fish that can be used for alchemy. Oily Blackmouth, Pygmy Suckerfish and Firefin Snappers to name a few. One of the more important is the Pygmy Suckerfish which is used for Pygmy Oil. While Pygmy Oil can be fun to drink it is much more useful when used for higher level elixirs and potions as well as the Indestructible Alchemist’s Stone

Cooking - This is a no brainer, except for orcs. Well, they’ll eat anything. Many of the low level fish will say “Raw” when you fish them up. This is an easy way to tell if they have a corresponding cooking recipe. As you get into higher levels you don’t have that luxury. In fact some of the higher level cooking recipes require several fish, such as the Fish Feast. One of the favorite cooking recipes in game makes Savory Deviate Delight. You need Deviate Fish which can only be fished in Wailing Caverns. While the Savory Deviate Delight won’t give you stats, it will turn you into something fun!

Rare Fish - Rare fish are fish that can be held in your off hand. One of the more common ones is the 19 pound catfish. The Achievement One That Didn’t Get Away requires you to catch a rare fish. Unfortunately the 19 pound catfish is too common to be considered rare enough for this achievement. Another rare fish of note is the Huge Spotted Feltail. It doesn’t count towards but the One That Didn’t Get Away Achievement but you will need to catch one for the Outland Gourmet Achievement for cooking. You need one of these to make a Fisherman’s Feast.

Wreckage - There are ship wrecks in Azeroth of course, due to pirates and naga pests and such. The wreckage will float up near shore and sometimes you can fish fun things out of it. There will be crates and trunks, usually with a bit of silver and some crafting items in them. And occasionally you can fish up an old leather boot or a skull or best of all Rumsey Rum Blak Label. Mmmmm….hic!

Bloodsail Wreckage

Floating Wreckage

Schooner Wreckage

Steam Pump Floatsam

Waterlogged Wreckage

You need to fish one of each type of wreckage for the Achievement, The Scavenger. It’s quite possible you’ll get some fun loot while you’re at it!

A Little Extra Reading

Now for those of you who enjoy a good read to help relax while waiting for that next big bite, here’s a list of my favorites. You’ll find even more tips and tricks for fishing if you read enough. You can’t stuff everything into one guide you know!

Etiquette Tips

When desiring to group with another person. It is considered polite to talk to them before sending a group invite.

Should your group happen upon a chest, supply crate, herb node, mining node ect. Ask before you loot. Most groups do /roll to find out who gets the item.

If you have a spell that will be benefical to the other players in your group, don’t hesitate to use it! (AKA Buff your Group!)

When asking for anything from your group, mind your please and thank yous.

Should you need to go AFK, notify the group and add about how long you expect to be gone. Do not be AFK for longer than 5 minutes.

If you have to leave a group before a quest or dungeon is complete, try to find a replacement for yourself. Though not required, it is also polite and considerate to give a reason for your leaving.

Ideal Groups

This section will describe what key elements or classes a group should have if it’s expected to succeed. There are always exceptions to this rule because there are many different combinations that will work with the many different classes in the game.
| 5 Man | 10 Man | 20 Man | 25 Man | 40 Man |

5 Man

There are 3 essential people that a 5 man party needs for an instance.

Tank – You need someone who can take damage and hold aggro. Warriors, Druids and Paladins work well in this role.

Healer – You need someone who can keep up with healing the entire party. Priests, Druids, Shamans and Paladins can fill this role. If a druid is your main healer, be sure to bring someone else who can ressurect more than once every 20 minutes.

DPS – The rest of your group needs to be filled with damage dealing classes. Any class can fill this role with the proper specs.

10 Man

The larger the groups, the more diverse you can be depending on what classes you have. Be flexible but keep some basic ‘must-haves’ in mind.

Tank - In a 10 man group you need at least 1 tank, preferably 2. You need someone who can take damage and hold aggro. Warriors, Druids and Paladins work well as tanks.

Healer - Just like a tank, you need at least 2 healers. You need someone who can keep up with healing the entire party. Priests, Druids, Shamans and Paladins can fill this role. If a druid is your main healer, be sure to bring someone else who can ressurect more than once every 20 minutes.

Crowd Control - 10 Man dungeons tend to have larger groups to pull. You need to have some crowd control abilities. The type of CC needed will depend on the dungeon itself but the three most popular CC classes are mages, rogues, and hunters.

DPS - The rest of your group needs to be filled with damage dealing classes. Any class can fill this role with the proper specs.

20 Man

In 20+ Instances you can be flexible but you also have to have certain classes and even sometimes certain talent specializations for boss encounters.

Tank - In 20 man dungeons you need to be more particular about how many of each class you have. Depending on the raid instance, you will need 2-4 tanks which can be warriors, paladins or druids. For raiding you need tanks who are spec’d specifically for tanking.

Healer - Depending on the dungeon you need 2-5 healers. Ideally, all healers will be spec’d for raid healing. Priests, druids, shamans and paladins work well. Try to get a mix of healer classes because of different healing abilities will give you flexibility for boss encounters.

Crowd Control – Most 20 man instances do require 1-3 mages for sheeping. Saps and Hunters traps will work but are not a reliable way to control raid instance mobs who can easily one-shot most members of the raid.

Decursing and Curing - There are bosses in 20 man dungeons that just love to curse and poison and do all manner of debuffs that can wipe a group if they’re not taken care of immediately. You need sufficient coverage in your classes to take care of mass decursing. Mages and druids for curses. Priests and paladins for disease and magic. Paladins and druids for poisons. Some bosses you have to designate 1-2 people to just stand there and decurse everyone during the whole fight.

Saviors - You must have someone who can save the group from a wipe. In some dungeons it’s hard to get back to where you were unless someone managed to survive to rez others. This can be a hunter or rogue with engineering jumper cables(not very reliable), a Paladin with DI(1 hour cooldown, have a couple backup plans) or a Warlock with Soulstone(30 min cooldown, use wisely).

DPS - The rest of your group needs to be filled with damage dealing classes. Any class can fill this role with the proper specs.

25 Man

This # instance was added with the Burning Crusade Expansion. It is similar to 20 mans but the classes are more dependant on the raid instance itself.

Tank - In 25 man dungeons you need to be more particular about how many of each class you have, depending on the boss encounters. You will need 1-5 tanks, two of which will need to be spec’d for tanking. The others you can usually slide by with an off-spec tank. Warriors, druids and paladins will work well.

Healer - You will need 4-8 healers, depending on the instance. 4 of the healers need to be spec’d for healing. The rest, if not spec’d for healing, need to be partially heal spec or in very good healing gear. Priests, Druids, Paladins and Shamans will work well.

Crowd Control - Many 25 man dungeons do not require crowd control. Those that do require CC are easily covered by 1-2 mages.

Decursing and Curing - There are bosses in 25 man dungeons that just love to curse and poison and do all manner of debuffs that can wipe a group if they’re not taken care of immediately. You need sufficient coverage in your classes to take care of mass decursing. Mages and druids for curses. Priests and paladins for disease and magic. Paladins and druids for poisons.

40 Man

In 40+ Instances you can be flexible but you also have to have certain classes and even sometimes certain talent specializations. Basically you can take a 20 man group and double it. Or take the rules for a 5 man group and repeat it 8 times. There are also specific requirements for classes depending on what 40 man dungeon you are doing.

Tank - In 40 man dungeons you need at least 4 but preferably 5 or 6 tanks. You need at least 2 tanks who are spec’d for raid tanking, the rest you can get by with off-spec tanks. Warriors, Druids and Paladins will work and in some cases, Shamans and Pet-Tanks (hunters or warlocks using a pet to off-tank a mob).

Healer - You need at least 5 healers for a 40 man dungeon. You need 2-3 dedicated heal-spec healers for the tanks and the rest of the healers can be an off-spec. Priests, Druids, Paladins and Shamans work fine.

Crowd Control - 40 Man dungeons have interesting pulls and depending on the dungeon you may need a rogue for sapping, a mage for sheeping, a hunter for trapping/kiting or a warlock for banishing.

Decursing and Curing - There are bosses in 40 man dungeons that just love to curse and poison and do all manner of debuffs that can wipe a group if they’re not taken care of immediately. You need sufficient coverage in your classes to take care of mass decursing. Mages and druids for curses. Priests and paladins for disease and magic. Paladins and druids for poisons.
Class Roles

These are the general roles expected of classes as well as what talent trees mean for that class. Classes in the non-raiding environment can fulfill different roles even if they are not fully specialized for it. For example, a Paladin spec’d for DPS can, with good gear, heal well enough for 5 man instances. Or a druid who is spec’d for healing can, with good gear, tank some 5 man instances. It isn’t until you get into 60+ content that roles and specs get more concrete for grouping.

Loot Rules

This section shows examples of generally accepted looting rules. Be sure that you ask your group what the looting rules are going to be, just in case they are different from normal. It will avoid hostility and confusion later.

Roll Greed on any BoE Item

Roll Need on any BoE or BoP item that your current character can use, not your alts.

Roll Greed on any BoE crafting items such as gems.

Pass on any BoP Item if your character does not need it (See Rule #2)

If all party members pass on an item, type /roll or /random 100 to determine who gets the item

When coming across a non-mob loot item such as Crates or Herbs/Mines /roll or /random 100 to determine who gets to loot the item in question.

Terms

Add - This means your party has somehow pulled another unexpected mob.

Aggro - This refers to the attention of the mob or who the mob is attacking. If you’ve gained aggro, the mob is attacking you. If you loose aggro, the mob moved on to someone else.

AOE - A spell or ability that affects an area. For example, a mage can cast Blizzard or Arcane Explosion. A paladin can cast Concecration. A priest can cast Holy Nova. Warlocks can cast Rain of Fire. Generally AoE means to do damage to lots of mobs in a concentrated area.

Bio - Bathroom break. Another way of saying AFK

BoE - Bind on Equip, refering to an item that you may pick up and give or sell to anyone else. If you equip said item, it will become soulbound to you.

Body Pull - To pull a mob to the group by walking up to it. Accidently or intended.

BoP - Bind on Pickup, refering to an item that will become soulbound to you if you pick it up. Can also mean Blessing of Protection, a paladin spell.

Buff - A good spell that boosts an ability

CC - Crowd Control, when a group is looking for a CC, they are looking for a class that can crowd control targets. For example, mages can sheep, hunters can ice trap, rogues can sap, ect.

CS - Counterspell, generally this means someone is asking the mage to cast counterspell on a target.

DE - Disenchant, meaning to destroy an item to get enchanting materials from it. Groups sometimes do this to BoP items that no one can use then the group rolls for the materials the DE created.

Debuff - A bad spell that causes harm, reduces an ability or is just annoying

Decurse - To dispell, remove curse, cure poison, cure disease or otherwise remove unwanted debuffs

DOT - A spell or ability that does Damage Over Time.

DPS - Damage Per Second. Reference to classes who are high damage dealing classes or the amount of damage a weapon does.

HOT - A spell or ability that Heals Over Time.

I’m red - Meaning all the player’s equipment is broken and needs to be repaired.

I’m yellow - Meaning all the player’s equipment is very close to being broken and needs to be repaired.

Kite - To gain the aggro of a mob and make it follow you, preferably without the mob doing damage to you.

MA* - Main Assist, the person whose job it is to decide what targets die first. All other party members should follow the MA’s target so everyone is attacking the same thing.

MC - Usually means Molten Core but sometimes a it means Mind Control, a priest spell.

MT - Main Tank, the person whose job it is to take and hold aggro

Nuke - A powerful spell or combination of spells that do a lot of damage. Usually a term used to describe certain mage spells.

OOM - Out Of Mana, if the healer says this, it’s bad.

OT - Off tank, the person whose job it is to take and hold aggro of another target that is not the MT’s target.

Pat - Patrol, this is used to reference a mob that patrols around a certain area.

Rez - Resurrect, return a player to life.

After 1.11 mages can also cast other polymorph effects that can turn the target into different animals. The name ‘sheep’ sticks though. If someone is asking a mage to sheep, they are asking the mage to cast polymorph on the target.

Sheep Pull - Polymorph a target, therefore pulling the rest of the mobs to the group.

Sleep Pull - Druid version of a Sheep pull.

SS - Soulstone, a warlock ability to save a group from a wipe by storing the target’s soul so they can resurrect after they die.

Wipe - When a group Wipes, it means the whole group died.

* With the introduction of raid icons in the Burning Crusade, most groups no longer use an MA but rather designate a kill order according to what icons are used on what mobs.

Raid Icons

These are a list of the Raid Icons and what they a usually used for. Exceptions may apply, be sure to ask your group for clarification as needed. A Versatile Icon means the icon can have several uses.

Skull - First Target to kill.

X - Second Target to kill.

Hey everyone,

The development team has been working really hard on the features, content, and systems for PvP in Diablo III and I wanted to take some time to give an update on where we’re at.

Of course, our goal has been to release our Team Deathmatch mode as soon as possible, but we don’t want to put anything out there before it’s ready. Right now, Team Deathmatch isn’t yet where we want it to be, so I want to provide some insight into where we are at in the development process.

The State of PvP

Our original intent with PvP for Diablo III was to provide more formal support for the dueling community that existed in Diablo II. We wanted to give players some kind of structure that would not only make it easier for you to duel with one another, but also allow you to have duels that were team-based. This is how our Team Deathmatch mode emerged, and it’s been instrumental in making a lot of improvements to Diablo III. But in continuing to develop this mode, playtest it, and put it in front of other developers within the company, we’ve found that it falls short of our expectations for a high-quality Blizzard experience.

Putting people into an arena and letting them hurl fireballs and swing crazy-ass swords at one another always has an element of fun to it. I imagine it’s no surprise to anyone reading this blog that people like battling each other in video games, so if you had the chance to play our Team Deathmatch at one of the BlizzCons where we featured it you might not understand why we’d say that we don’t feel the current mode is good enough.

Well, Here’s Why…

For us it comes to a few issues, one of which is depth. Simply fighting each other with no other objectives or choices to make gets old relatively quickly. We’ve brought a lot of people in to try out Team Deathmatch and, while some found it entertaining, most of our testers didn’t feel like it was something they’d want to do beyond a few hours. Without more varied objectives, or very lucrative rewards, few saw our current iteration as something they’d want spend a lot of time in.

Another is class balance. Like Diablo II, Diablo III was designed to be a PvE-first kind of game, where we never compromised on player abilities in the name of future PvP balance. We want to be able to carry over as many of the crazy runes, items, and skills as possible, with their crazy effects, and alter them as little as possible. In a casual PvP mode, something equivalent to a WoW Battleground, this would be fine, but Team Deathmatch felt very hardcore, and it put a laser focus on class balance in a way that we didn’t think would be good for the game as a whole.

Certainly, we’ve gotten a lot of benefits from the development of Team Deathmatch, especially in the areas of controls and combat model tuning, but at this point we don’t believe it’s the experience we feel it needs to be in order to ship, so we will be shelving it for now and exploring other options.

What’s Next

So, our core problem is that our Team Deathmatch mode doesn’t feel like a great addition to Diablo III. It’s not up to the quality that Blizzard gamers expect or that we feel you deserve, and it doesn’t really fit with our goals for the rest of the game. The question now is what are we going to do about it?

First and foremost, if our original goal was to support dueling, then we’re not achieving that goal very well if we don’t actually give players a way to duel in-game. You’ve been asking us for dueling for a while, so we’re going to add it to the game soon. Dueling is currently scheduled to release with patch 1.0.7, which is set to hit sometime after the new year. (We’ll be providing details about that feature very soon, so stay tuned.)

But as I mentioned before, we are going back to the drawing board on a new replacement for Team Deathmatch, something that feels more appropriate for Diablo III. And as we stated previously, regardless of when we release it, it’ll be a free addition to the game. Team Deathmatch provided us with the foundation that we needed and served us well. Hell, it may even still be added in some form in the future. For now, though, we’re going to first be looking at new modes that play up to the strengths of the character classes, focus on objectives beyond just defeating other players, and possibly even integrate PvE elements and rewards.

Keepin’ It Real

We wanted to be upfront and honest with the community about where this particular project is at. It’s certainly not ideal, and I know some of you got to play Team Deathmatch at BlizzCon and are probably thinking, “It seemed good enough! Just give us that.” I also know how I feel whenever a game or game feature I’m looking forward to is delayed, but, as with all things Blizzard, we want to be sure that the features we add to Diablo III are actually worth it and will make the game better, and PvP is no exception.

While we don’t have any further information to share right now about our plans for additional PvP modes, we really look forward to posting more about dueling in the next few days.

Well, I won my fantasy football league. FREE MONEY! So I surfed the GAH and found a few awesome deals on gear I’ve been looking for. So I decide to buy some gold because why not? This is cash I wasn’t expecting right?

Well, that was early this morning and I still haven’t seen my gold. I’ve surfed the technical problems thread and apparently I’m not alone. Those GAH deals are LONG gone. I’m not exactly pleased.

How do powerhouses like Blizzard and PayPal NOT get these issues fixed ASAP when they affect the income that both take in? I’m off tomorrow, I’ve had my daughter for 3 days and now she’s back to her mother. I’m ready to do some serious gaming accompanied by a few libations. But NOOOOOO, my grand plan to massively upgrade my toon gets thrown by the wayside because of the mistakes of two of the most respected companies in their respective businesses. I’ve been a customer of both for many years so there really isn’t any excuse. Ugh…………..

If you are going to play daiblo 3 as you are a fan of diablo 2, then I m telling diablo 3 will let you down, diablo 3 is not as good as diablo 2, and it’s not what you think. here we list why diablo 3 is different:

a- lack of blizzard presence on the forums

-always online

-lots of bugs/technical issues people have had to deal with since day 1 i.e stuttering, login issues

-a lot of people hate the auction house, or pay to win concept.. Some i believe feel that it hurts the core item hunt of the game

-no pvp yet even though it says so on the box
-very short game with limited content and variations, for example, the map generation system isn’t nearly as good as D2′s.

-some people hate the art direction/graphics
-the amount of stats or affixs is much lower than d2
-the drop rates are kind of out of wack (opinion)
-its awful seeing so many class specific items roll with unfavorable and even completely useless stats
-elemental damage doesnt even have unique effects and is purely for visual flare at the moment. (from what i’ve gathered)

- bad multiplayer matchmaking options, no choice for browsing games or seeing mp level.
- a lot of people feel certain classes are op and certain are way underpowered.
- Removing stat point choices when leveling up toned down customization
- acounts being hacked

thats all i feel like writing, there is definetly more. Sorry about the random format i’ve been drinking. Also note a lot of the above doesnt bother me personally, some does.

But if you still want to have a try, it’s fine, you will need lots of diablo 3 gold for good equipment buying, and if you want to buy diablo 3 gold from 3rd party, I recommend you legit site for cheap diablo 3 gold – gamerluck

As a regular diablo 3 gold buyer, you must realized how difficulty to buy diablo 3 hard core gold from site. If you had experience to buy diablo 3 hard core gold before, you must know how long to take gold from you paid the order. Not all sites could fill the order within 30 minutes as they stated on website, there are lots of reasons, it’s too complex to explain why they can’t deliver gold, however, one word would describe them: Unprofessional.

Today i m talking about the best place to buy diablo 3 gold for hardcore, as normal mode is no need to be mentioned. Most sties has full stock of normal diablo 3 gold, but not hard core.

I had bought several orders from lots of different sites, but here I recommend you my favorite website named gamerluck.com.

1, five to ten minutes delivery

I usually take hard core diablo 3 gold from most sites by hours, till I met gamerluck.com, the site offers extremely fast service, every time when i buy hard core diablo 3 gold from them, they could give me gold by 5 to 10 minutes. This is very impressive service among all diablo 3 gold selling sites.

2, reasonable price for hardcore diablo 3 gold.

If you often buy diablo 3 gold, you may suffer same experience with me like this, when you placed an order of diablo 3 gold, and your seller asks you to wait till they get gold in stock, so you waited 1 or 2 days, and then you got told market price raised, you need to pay more$, that’s ridiculous!!! So this is another reason I use gamerluck, because they never ask me to price difference even when gold price raised.

What’s more, they got much better customer sevice then most other sites, I vote them, if you want to buy hardcore cheap diablo 3 gold, gamerluck.com deserves your trust.

With at least 10 full act 3 clears, start to finish.

This is an absolute joke, and in my opinion makes it 100% clear that blizz controls drops. I used to at LEAST get 1 legendary per run, and averaged about 3. Now all of a sudden (past couple weeks) I’m getting nothing at all. Only legendary I found was some crap 60 one hand crossbow that’s not even worth the trip to the blacksmith to brimstone it.

All runs are at least 450+ MF as well. I mean are you kidding me? It’s obvious blizzard controls this, or has some sort of “timer” set on players and only have drop rates up for a certain time then take it back down. Seriously I found more legendary’s than this PRE PATCH, you know before they “doubled” drop rates for them.

Good stuff Blizzard, I’m about to sell my account and quit. This game is going no where, there are no new patch notes about how you’re going to fix the Monk which you BROKE, for no f’ing reason..what’s the point anymore?

What is the point of playing? I guarantee you all their going to do in next patch is buff barbs again, watch.

edit — sorry forgot to mention, I clear full a3 runs usually in mp5-6.
